Over the years, we have remained closely connected to the development of the real estate sector in Mexico, both in transactional and strategic matters, as well as in regulatory aspects related to urban planning and environmental law. We conduct real estate legal audits, evaluating the legal and registry conditions of a property prior to acquisition, including its ejido status. This provides our clients with valuable insights to determine if the property meets the necessary characteristics and potential for their projects. In terms of project development, we assist clients in land acquisition or contribution, as well as in designing the corporate structures used for these purposes—whether companies, joint ventures, or trusts. This includes models such as private fiber trusts for the private collection of resources through fiduciary rights. Additionally, with extensive experience working with various public notaries, we help clients formalize their real estate transactions. Finally, we represent property buyers in pursuing legal actions to recover contributions that were calculated in an inequitable or disproportionate manner during the purchase and sale of new properties, as well as contributions that must be paid as part of the development process for real estate projects.

Real Estate Law
Urban Law

Our practice in Urban Law is specifically focused on the legislation governing the planning and development of new projects and infrastructure, which are key factors for their success and long-term performance in terms of time and cost. With an interdisciplinary approach, we bring together professionals from various fields involved in the execution of real estate or infrastructure projects, such as consultants specializing in mobility, hydrology, and the environment, surveyors, or construction managers. We form integrated teams that provide one-stop-shop solutions for our clients. With a practical mindset, we support our clients starting from the evaluation of their properties, addressing issues such as the transition from communal land to private property, land use, secondary regulations, and ecological planning. We also help design regulatory compliance strategies and implement management plans that allow our clients to focus on their core business, rather than dedicating their own resources to the direct management of project procedures.
