Manuel Mureddu is the founding partner and director of Mureddu Abogados y Consultores. He heads the areas of Environmental, Urban Planning, Real Estate and Energy Law. In his professional experience, he has led the management and regulatory compliance strategies of a wide number of real estate projects and developments, both in their urban planning and environmental regulations. He serves as general legal advisor to companies in various sectors and industries, such as manufacturing, real estate, education, energy, marketing and agribusiness, including family businesses. In the academic field, he is the author of various publications in specialized journals and has been a professor of Environmental Law, Legal Aspects of Design, and Legal Design at the Universidad Anáhuac Querétaro. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Law from the Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro and a Master's degree in Law (LLM) from Stanford Law School, (Stanford University), having received the Fulbright-García Robles Scholarship. He also holds a diploma in New Sustainable Urbanism from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and a Specialty in Real Estate Valuation.

Montserrat Mureddu is our partner at Mureddu Abogados y Consultores and director of the Multi-Family Office area. Since 2009, she has also been a founding partner of a consulting firm in human resources, organizational well-being, and recruitment. In addition, since 2020, she has worked as a personal, family planning and finances coach, where she integrates topics of psychology and finance. Her Instagram profile “monddu”, where she frequently discusses personal and family finances, has more than 156 thousand followers. Montserrat has a degree in Organizational Psychology from the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, where she obtained the Honorable Mention. In addition, she has studied topics such as Personal Finance and Financial Education, Brief Systemic Family Therapy, Positive Psychology, Human Capital Management, Food and Moods, Family Protocol, and Generational Change.

Emilio Ramírez-Gámiz is part of the Mureddu Abogados y Consultores team, as Of Counsel, and is a specialist in the Financial and Corporate Law practices. He has focused his professional practice on providing legal services to institutions belonging to the banking, stock market, insurance and surety and financial sectors in Mexico, such as Banamex, BBVA, Serfín, Santander and Scotiabank Inverlat. He has more than 40 years of experience in the processes of incorporation and transformation of entities that are part of financial groups, as well as obtaining authorizations specific to the financial sector, legal risk audits and regulatory compliance. Additionally, he has proven experience in dealing with restructuring and corporate governance matters with the highest levels of complexity. In recent years, his consulting activity involved legal advice for the technological innovation of financial institutions through attention to fintech companies. For more than 30 years he has taught Stock Market Law at the Escuela Libre de Derecho, and for more than 10 years he has taught Banking and Monetary Law at the Universidad Panamericana and the Diploma in Financial Law at the Universidad Anáhuac. He obtained his law degree from the Escuela Libre de Derecho in 1984 and studied Senior Management at the Instituto Panamericano de Alta Dirección de Empresas (IPADE). In addition, he has an Executive Certification from the Leadership Program at Harvard University. He has been a member of the Mexican Bar Association, the Illustrious and National Bar Association of Mexico and the National Association of Corporate Lawyers (ANADE).

Mariana Mureddu is part of the Mureddu Abogados y Consultores team, under the figure of Of Counsel, being a specialist in the practices of administrative law, administrative procedural law and amparo. She is also a founding partner of the Hunánime law firm in Mexico City, dedicated to the defense of doctors in the exercise of their profession. In addition, she is part of the team of the oleaDHa consulting firm, which specializes in the promotion of substantive equality and human rights from an intersectional gender perspective. In her professional experience, she served in the federal jurisdictional role for 31 years and is a certified mediator by the State Center for Mediation, Conciliation and Restorative Justice of the Judicial Branch of the State of Mexico, with registration number 91. In the academic field, she is a professor at the Universidad Panamericana, has participated in various publications as co-author and coordinator and is the author of the book Legal Regulation of the Electronic Clinical Record published by Tirant Lo Blanch. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Law from the Autonomous Technological Institute of Mexico and a PhD in Law from the National Autonomous University of Mexico.

Javier Odriozola is part of the Mureddu Abogados y Consultores team, under the figure of Of Counsel, being a specialist in financial and regulatory legal advice (private debt and public debt); corporate matters and the Company in general. He has a track record of 29 years of professional practice in the legal field within banking, from Banco Mexicano Somex to Banco Santander Mexico, practicing in the legal areas of Corporate Banking, Corporate Finance, M&E, Commercial Banking, Institutional Banking, Private Banking and Trustee. Additionally, he served as Regional Legal Director of Banco Santander in the central region of the country. He has a Bachelor's degree in Law, generation 86-91, from the Universidad Panamericana, as well as a master's degree in Business Law from the Francisco de Vitoria University and the Illustrious and National Bar Association of Madrid.

Luis Carlos Álvarez Contreras is one of our lawyers at Mureddu Abogados y Consultores, working mainly in the areas of Corporate, Real Estate and Energy Law. He has experience in handling the corporate agenda of companies in various branches, corporate governance structures and contracts, particularly for companies in the solar energy sector. Additionally, in urban planning he has experience handling condominium conformation and governance structures for different types of real estate projects. Luis Carlos has a Bachelor's degree in Law from the Universidad Panamericana and has a diploma in Energy Law from the Escuela Libre de Derecho and a diploma in Amparo Trial from the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation. He has also participated in various Real Estate Law refresher courses at the College of Notaries of Mexico City. Before joining our firm, he worked at other law firms in Querétaro and at Public Notary 74 in Mexico City and Public Notary 51 in Aguascalientes.

Samantha Álvarez is one of our lawyers at Mureddu Abogados y Consultores, specializing in Urban and Real Estate Law. Throughout her career, she has provided legal advice to both real estate developers and public entities in the planning and execution of sustainable urban development projects and compliance with environmental regulations. As a graduate in Law and Master in Urban Planning from the National Autonomous University of Mexico, she has worked with various actors in the real estate sector, and has significant experience in prior legal audits, as well as in the design and execution of strategies for the management of permits and authorizations required in residential, commercial and industrial projects, always seeking to maximize development potential in accordance with the most demanding standards in urban management and sustainable development. She has participated in the marketing and development of various real estate projects, integrating legal solutions with a strategic vision to maximize the potential of each project.
